About Me

Right.  So you want to know about me I guess, because you clicked this.  Well then I guess I should write something.  This feels like writing an obituary, though so I'm doing it in point form.

1. I go by Michelle or Chelle.  I prefer Chelle.  But what I prefer best of all is Berniece, which is my middle name.  I love Gramma names.  Nobody calls me Berniece.  I haven't asked anyone to, either... so...
2. I prefer real books to e-books.
3. I'll probably cave and buy an ereader one day.  
4. I am 5 foot 7.  
5. I love everything about the poem, "The Love Song of J. Alfred. Prufrock" by T.S. Eliot.  The imagery, the way it makes me feel, the cadence, the odd complacency mixed with desperation.  It is my favourite piece of literature.
6. I live with the love of my life!  I can't believe it sometimes.
7. I used to live with my enemy.  That sucked.
8. I really love sushi.
9. Oysters too.  
10. I can't wrap my head around how people can hate reading book.  BOOKS?  Twisted, wonderful books???  How is that possible?
11. I prefer nice beer to wine.  
12. I can run a loader and an excavator.  That makes me feel cool.
13. I wish it was my job again sometimes.

17. I like to draw
18. I'm very impatient
19. I sing in the grocery store by accident sometimes. 
20. I love blogs. Duh.
21. I take photos pretty much every day. 
22. I'm a Mama, but I don't like to overdo it on the Mommy blogging. It's kind of the one thing I do for myself. 
23. I like campy horror movies.  A lot. 
24. I will never watch saw or its sequels
25. I like Zombie movies, obviously.  I don't know why.  They are all the same, but I still love them.
26. I'm not a natural blonde.  Can you believe it??
27. I had a baby when I was barely nineteen.
28. I can shoot... or at least i used to be able to.  I haven't actually shot a gun since I was a kid.  But I was a pretty good shot then (or was I?  I can't confirm this).  I have a wonky elbow now though. 
29. Once, when I was 10, my cousin Dallas and I shot a pigeon dead and then brought it into the house and told my older sister it was tame.  When she went to pet it, its head flopped down and just dangled there.  
30. I have poked a dead beaver with a stick.  Recently.
31. I do not like bugs.  
32. I want to marry coffee in a big fancy wedding.
33. I won a pro photo contest, pretty much by fluke once.
34. I have a photo blog.
35. I can flip my eyelids inside out, vibrate my eyeballs, bend only the knuckles close to my fingernails if I want (withough touching them), Make the vulcan sign, stand on my head, yodel and cross one eye at a time.  
36. My toes are dexterous.
